Robbin Grabowski is an animal lover and advocate. Much of her life has revolved around animals. Growing up she was a member of 4H and Future Farmers of America. Robbin currently works with the two Jack Russell Terrier Rescues operating in California. Robbin is often asked to be a foster home to the Jack Russells with behavior issues. Robbin works diligently with those Jack Russells to overcome any behavior issues they exhibit and then they are placed up for adoption. In addition, she is currently a Behavior Consultant for the two rescues. She also coaches handlers and trains dogs for a variety of dog sports.
Teaching and training are a couple of Robbin’s favorite things because they allow her the flexibility to operate in a number of capacities that are dear to her heart and as a bonus, she gets to spend her days with the dogs. Robbin’s experience as a trainer extends over 30+ years, where she operated a lucrative show horse training business. She trained and showed the #1 Paint Horse in the nation in 2002 & 2003, for the American Paint Horse Association's PAC Program, as well as coached amateur and youth riders. These experiences have helped her in training dogs. Through encouraging their natural abilities and elevating their skills, Robbin has trained several dogs to earn titles in Agility, Barn Hunt, Flyball, Lure Coursing, Rally, and Trick Dog. Also, many have won numerous trial high points as well as Championships and Reserve Championships in Agility, Racing, Brush Hunt, Go To Ground, Super Earth, Trailing & Locating, Obedience & Rally.
When Robbin isn’t on the training field, you’ll find her enjoying her dogs and competing with them in various dog sports. She enjoys many activities with her dogs, such as Agility, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Fast Cat, Flyball, Lure Coursing, and Rally & Terrier Trials. Recently, she took her Jack Russell Terrier, Fly, hunting in the field (where they hunt underground and have to be dug down to and unearthed) where he earned his Natural Hunting Certificate to Nutria from the Jack Russsell Terrier Club of America. Robbin has been the CA State Representative for the JRTCA since 2015.
